Say "I Do" With Succulents

Succulents are perfect wedding plants. They're much more durable than typical wedding flowers. And, when the ceremony is over, you can root the cuttings used and plant an entire little garden.

Recently we designed flowers for a few weddings, and incorporated them throughout the entire event--from the bride's attire to the party favors. Here are some snapshots of the special days.

An arbor adorned with a swag made from succulents, eucalyptus, and other locally-sourced foliage.

Cuttings were scattered throughout the tables, from the reception to the dessert buffet.

Of course there were succulent centerpieces!

Guests picked up their place cards and a little succulent shot glass to take home.

The bride's headpiece included tillandsias.

Members of the wedding party sported succulents in the form of corsages and boutineers.
