Origin/parentage: Mexico but first studied in France (1913).
Propagation: Removal of the extensive bulbils. Seed set is uncommon and erratic in cultivation.
Notes: This agave is a large, solitary species with long and curving, light green leaves.The base of the leaf is swollen and wide with the rest of the leaves geacefully curve upward hence it's common name.
