2019 Succulent Extravaganza Schedule

 

 

We're thrilled to host the 9th Annual Succulent Extravaganza at Succulent Gardens Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28.

We have a fantastic lineup of tours, workshops, and lectures for you led by the top creative types and garden designers from around California. In no particular order, presenting this year will be:

Friday, September 27

8:00: Early Bird Nursery Tour, Allana Childs of Succulent Gardens 

9:30: Succulent Color, How to get the Most Vibrant, Lasting Color All Year Long,  Robin Stockwell (Founder of Succulent Gardens; The Succulent Guy) 

10:45: Quick, Easy, & Colorful Containers with Laura Eubanks! Learn how she pairs plants for color, texture and compatibility,  Laura Eubanks, Design for Serenity. Laura will have swag for sale!

11:30: Lunch at Nayarit's Taco Truck. 

12:00: Backstage Tour of Stock Houses, John Rodkin, Owner of Succulent Gardens 

1:30:  Succulents in the City: Sean and James will explore how city dwellers are enjoying succulents on balconies, rooftops and hidden oasis gardens, Organic Mechanics 

 3:00: Plant Raffle

Important Info

HOW MUCH DOES THE SUCCULENT EXTRAVAGANZA COST?
It’s FREE!

HOW CAN I PAY FOR ALL OF THE PLANTS I PLAN TO BUY?
Cash, check, and credit card!

WHAT ARE THE FOOD OPTIONS?
There will be a taco truck onsite for purchasing lunch.  Bring a water bottle; we will have water coolers available to for fill up!  We also have benches and shady seating areas so feel free to bring your own picnic lunch.

WHERE DO I PARK?
We will have parking attendants to direct you to parking across the street, expect a short walk to the nursery.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
Prepare for a rain-or-shine event that is largely outdoors. Wear good walking shoes and bring sunscreen and a hat!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We suggest wearing layers and bringing your own shopping wagon. Bring your camera, of course, and water!

WHERE CAN I EAT WHILE IN TOWN?
We love the Haute Enchilada in Moss Landing! We recommend a reservation if you’re having dinner there. Call (831) 633-5843.
